I love silent movies and one of my favorites is 1923's Safety Last! starring Harold Lloyd. Harold's building-climbing sidekick in that movie is played by Bill Strother, a real-life steeplejack (a skilled worker who climbed buildings to do construction and repairs). Bill's hat in that movie is absolutely the epitome of 1920's disheveled scamp and I had to try my best to pull it off the silver screen and into the world. Wear it with great scampiness. ~ Lauren
